Morph
A morph is a colour and pattern variant of a species — like a leucistic, albino or copper axolotl — produced by genetics, without changing the animal's care needs.

Morphs are about appearance, not husbandry: a leucistic and a wild-type axolotl need identical care (though albino and other light-pigment morphs can be a little more light-sensitive).
Don't confuse "morph" (a colour variant) with "morphing" (metamorphosis). A colour morph is normal; an axolotl trying to metamorphose is not.
