Feeder insects
Feeder insects are the live invertebrates — crickets, dubia roaches, black soldier fly larvae, worms and flightless fruit flies — that make up most insectivorous amphibians' diets.
The right feeder depends on the animal's size (prey should be no wider than the space between its eyes) and species (tiny dart frogs need fruit flies; a bullfrog takes roaches). Gut-load and dust them, and vary the menu.
